The cities of Lafayette, Louisville, Town of Supe­ri­or, and Boul­der Val­ley School Dis­trict are host­ing a region­al sus­tain­abil­i­ty event called Eco-Tober on Sun­day, Oct. 2, from noon-4pm at Cen­tau­rus High School (10300 South Boul­der Rd) in Lafayette.

Eco-Tober will fea­ture over 40 exhibitors, a per­for­mance by Jeff and Paige, hands-on work­shops, and inter­ac­tive activ­i­ties for a fun fam­i­­ly-friend­­ly event. We invite you to join us for this event to envi­sion and cre­ate healthy, resilient, and sus­tain­able com­mu­ni­ties in Boul­der Coun­ty. This event is free and open to the public.

Eco-Tober will also fea­ture an elec­tric vehi­cle show­case host­ed by Dri­ve Elec­tric Col­orado. Come learn about all things EV, ask ques­tions, and have them answered by real EV own­ers and experts. Plus, learn about the EV incen­tives you can get from Xcel Energy.

2:45–3:45pm — Green Clean­ing Work­shop host­ed by Lit­tle Herbal Apothecary

3:00–3:45pm - Sus­tain­abil­i­ty Sto­ry­time host­ed by the Lafayette Pub­lic Library

4pm — Event con­cludes

Atten­dees are encour­aged to bike, walk, car­pool, or take the bus to the event – those who make this choice will be giv­en an extra tick­et at our raf­fle. A free bike valet ser­vice will be offered to store your bike safe­ly and secure­ly while you enjoy the event.
