This year UUCB’s Cli­mate Action Min­istry (CAM) is focus­ing on pro­grams to help sup­port UUCB mem­bers and the Boul­der com­mu­ni­ty to empow­er their lives with elec­tric­i­ty. Run­ning our world econ­o­my on elec­tric­i­ty fueled by renew­able ener­gy sources is a key part of mit­i­gat­ing cli­mate change.

CAM’s pro­grams and EmPOW­ER Fair will offer infor­ma­tion and resources for those who are want­i­ng to take steps to be part of the new clean ener­gy future.

The EmPOW­ER Elec­tric Ener­gy and EV Fair will be held at the Uni­tar­i­an Uni­ver­sal­ist Church of Boul­der, 5001 Penn­syl­va­nia Ave., Boul­der CO, on Sat­ur­day, May 6, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00. Own­ers, deal­ers, and ser­vicers of elec­tric cars and bicy­cles will be exhibit­ing in the park­ing lot. Also, a vari­ety of clean ener­gy resource orga­ni­za­tions will offer infor­ma­tion at booths indoors, with options for home, apart­ment, trans­porta­tion, and more!
