Do you have a passion for electric vehicle education, love talking to people about your car and your experience with EVs, and want others to adopt an EV? Become a Volunteer EV Coach with Drive Electric Colorado to help us reach our goal of getting 940,000 EVs on the road by 2030. With your help, we can reach more consumers across the state who have questions about electric vehicles and accelerate EV adoption across the state.
What is an EV Coach?
EV Coaches are friendly individuals with knowledge about electric vehicles, including topics like charging, range, tax credits, and more. EV Coaches believe in Drive Electric Colorado’s and Drive Electric USA’s mission and sincerely want to help others make the switch to an EV by “coaching” consumers and providing themselves as a resource for those with questions. Volunteer EV Coaches will also support Drive Electric Colorado events like educational consumer workshops, ride and drives, and EV showcases.
Do I Need to Be an EV Expert?
No, you don’t need to be an expert on everything EVs! But, you will need to know about these main talking points:
- EVs are fun and safe to drive
- EVs are Earth-friendly
- EVs save you money
- EVs are easy to charge
- EVs are available now
- And more!
If you don’t feel comfortable with all of these topics right now, don’t worry! We’ll provide in-depth, comprehensive, and ongoing training to make sure every Volunteer EV Coach feels comfortable answering any question that comes their way.
