Bonnie Trowbridge

Bonnie Trowbridge

Role: Executive Director of Drive Clean Colorado providing oversight and guidance for the Drive Electric Colorado initiative

Bonnie is an EV enthusiast who has driven most of the current EV models available in Colorado today including electric school buses and street sweepers! Her work in the clean transportation industry started in 2008 and spans consumer EVs to alternative fuels to heavy-duty manufacturers and fleets, and a comprehensive understanding of the vehicle incentives arena across the U.S. Bonnie enjoys road tripping in her EV and riding her cruiser bike around the neighborhood.

Gabriella Perkins

Gabriella Perkins

Role: Deputy Director

Gabriella is passionate about clean air and clean transportation in her home state of Colorado. She began her work in clean transportation in 2017 holding various roles in marketing, PR, events, and grant writing & analysis. Her work allowed her to gain knowledge and experience with a wide variety of EV models from smaller consumers cars, all the way to heavy- duty electric trucks & buses. In her free time, Gabriella enjoys hiking and trying out new restaurants.

Julia Davila

Julia Davila

Role: Communications and Engagement Manager

Julia is a recent Environmental Studies graduate from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota but grew up in the Bay Area, California. She manages Drive Electric Colorado projects and tasks including social media, consumer events, the Volunteer EV Coach program, and more. As a former Clean Cities intern, Julia is excited about the opportunities this role offers to work with consumers and stakeholders across the state. Julia enjoys a good hike every weekend, is a houseplant fanatic, and is always planning her next adventure.

Matt Lerman

Matt Lerman 

Role: Regional Director – Denver Area 

Matt is on a mission to make Colorado a healthier and more equitable place to live and is determined to get clean transportation projects on the road and off the shelf. He recently completed his master’s in renewable and sustainable energy at CU Boulder with a focus on medium- and heavy-duty vehicle electrification and distributed energy resourcesMatt brings project management, investment analysis, stakeholder engagement, and clean transportation policy experience to the team. He has worked as a research analyst in the utility consulting sector, has a background in business, and is a principal co-founder of a real estate, property management, and investment brokerage in his hometown of Miami, Florida. In his free time, Matt loves getting outside with his new puppy Delilah and dreams of eating breakfast burritos on first chair of a powder day.
 
 
Sonja Meintsma

Sonja Meintmsa 

Role: Regional Director- South

Sonja’s favorite mode of transportation is a bicycle and she loves the advantage of the growing electric bike market to meet her daily needs! She grew to love bikes as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where she rode all across Eastern Zambia for her daily needs and for recreation. With that in mind, she is dedicated to finding the right transportation model to fit your lifestyle, whether it be an e-bike or an EV. Originally from Minnesota, she now lives in Colorado Springs and is the primary Coach for all potential EV-drivers in the South Central area of Colorado, including Colorado Springs and Pueblo. In her free time, Sonja loves to read, garden, and camp/hike around the Pikes Peak Region.
 
 
Kristi Mladenovic

Kristi Mladenovic

Role: Business Director

Kristi is an EV enthusiast but still waiting for the right EV to call her own! She brings over 20 years of experience in financial, management, and process improvement to the team. She serves on two non-profit boards in her community and believes that being involved is a start to change. In her spare time, she is a student at a world-renowned Tang Soo Do martial arts school where she is currently a Certified Instructor and 2nd Degree (hoping to receive her 3rd Degree next year)! She grew up in Kansas City and went to college in Washington D.C. and has been in Colorado since 2000 thanks to the dot.com boom. She absolutely loves Colorado and hopes that Drive Electric Colorado can help improve the air quality of our state and make it more breathable.

Andy Geleske

Andy Geleske 

Role: Intern 

Andy has a passion for creating more sustainable and equitable communities. A recent graduate from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Masters in Urban Resilience and Sustainability Planning, Andy sees clean transportation as a critical component to a cleaner environment and increased livability in Colorado. Andy is excited to be a part of the Drive Electric Colorado team and learn more about Colorado’s clean transportation industry. Previously, Andy worked in the environmental consulting field as a geologist. You can find Andy hitting the running and hiking trails in the warmer months and the ski slopes in the winter in his free time.
