Bonnie Trowbridge

Bonnie Trowbridge

Role: Executive Director of Drive Clean Colorado providing oversight and guidance for the Drive Electric Colorado initiative

Bonnie is an EV enthusiast who has driven most of the current EV models available in Colorado today including electric school buses and street sweepers! Her work in the clean transportation industry started in 2008 and spans consumer EVs to alternative fuels to heavy-duty manufacturers and fleets, and a comprehensive understanding of the vehicle incentives arena across the U.S. Bonnie enjoys road tripping in her EV and riding her cruiser bike around the neighborhood.

Julia Davila

Julia Davila

Role: Associate Project Manager, Drive Electric Colorado 

Julia is a recent Environmental Studies graduate from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota but grew up in the Bay Area, California. She manages Drive Electric Colorado projects and tasks including social media, consumer events, the Volunteer EV Coach program, and more. As a former Clean Cities intern, Julia is excited about the opportunities this role offers to work with consumers across the state. Julia enjoys a good hike every weekend, is a houseplant fanatic, and is always planning her next adventure.

Kristi Mladenovic

Kristi Mladenovic

Role: Business Manager

Kristi is an EV enthusiast but still waiting for the right EV to call her own! She brings over 20 years of experience in financial, management, and process improvement to the team. She serves on two non-profit boards in her community and believes that being involved is a start to change. In her spare time, she is a student at a world-renowned Tang Soo Do martial arts school where she is currently a Certified Instructor and 2nd Degree (hoping to receive her 3rd Degree next year)! She grew up in Kansas City and went to college in Washington D.C. and has been in Colorado since 2000 thanks to the dot.com boom. She absolutely loves Colorado and hopes that Drive Electric Colorado can help improve the air quality of our state and make it more breathable.

Sonja Meintsma

Sonja Meintmsa 

Role: ReCharge Coach, Southern Colorado; Project Support, Infrastructure Planning and Development Support

Sonja’s favorite mode of transportation is a bicycle and she loves the advantage of the growing electric bike market to meet her daily needs! She grew to love bikes as a Peace Corps Volunteer, where she rode all across Eastern Zambia for her daily needs and for recreation. With that in mind, she is dedicated to finding the right transportation model to fit your lifestyle, whether it be an e-bike or an EV. Originally from Minnesota, she now lives in Colorado Springs and is the primary Coach for all potential EV-drivers in the South Central area of Colorado, including Colorado Springs and Pueblo. In her free time, Sonja loves to read, garden, and camp/hike around the Pikes Peak Region.

Gabriella Perkins

Gabriella Perkins

Role: ReCharge Coach, Denver Metro Region; Event Coordinator, Infrastructure Planning and Development Support

Gabriella is passionate about clean air and clean transportation in her home state of Colorado. She began her work in clean transportation in 2017 holding various roles in marketing, PR, events, and grant writing & analysis. Her work allowed her to gain knowledge and experience with a wide variety of EV models from smaller consumers cars, all the way to heavy- duty electric trucks & buses. In her free time, Gabriella enjoys hiking and trying out new restaurants.

Steve Trowbridge

Steve Trowbridge

Role: Project Manager, Fleets and Fuels

Steve works closely with private and public fleets, helping them integrate EVs and other advanced vehicles into their fleets. Steve also plans and conducts Listening Sessions which serve as a crucial link to inform the Department of Energy and others about how their advanced fuels and clean technologies are being accepted by fleets and the general public. Steve helps the ReCharge Coaches by assisting with EV Outreach events, assisting grant applicants with their submittals to the Charge Ahead Colorado (CAC) program, and reviewing applications.

Selena Martinez

Selena Martinez 

Role: Associate Project Manager, Stakeholder Relations and Outreach 

Selena is a Colorado native who graduated in 2020 from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Physics. During her time in college, Selena was involved in outreach volunteer programs aimed at young girls interested in engineering and STEM. She was also a peer advisor for undergraduate students. She is excited to be learning about and promoting clean transportation and hopes to incorporate her acquired knowledge into her studies at Oregon State University in Fall 2021. In her free time, Selena loves to hike 14ers and enjoy the outdoors with friends and family.
