COLORADO ORGANIZATIONS CELEBRATE EARTH MONTH WITH EVS
Several events around the state will feature electric vehicles
[DENVER, CO] – Many organizations will be hosting events around Colorado to celebrate Earth Day, and Drive Electric Colorado will be there to give Coloradoans the opportunity to experience electric vehicles firsthand to encourage adoption for a more earth-friendly transportation future.
The Drive Electric Colorado team will be on hand at these events to answer questions about what it’s like to drive an EV, chargers (both at home and on the road), state and federal tax incentives, rebates, and more.
Each year, it’s becoming increasingly clear that EVs are here to stay and represent the future of clean, pollution-free driving. A recent survey by Consumer Reports and the Union of Concerned Scientists shows that over 60 percent of prospective car buyers in the U.S. are interested in electric vehicles; public interest, across geography and income level, is growing.
“When people think of ways to take care of our planet on Earth Day, switching to an electric vehicle usually comes to mind,” said Julia Davila, Communication and Engagement Manager at Drive Clean Colorado, the organization behind Drive Electric Colorado. “But many people have no experience with EVs and have many questions, from technical aspects to charging logistics. These events are a way to have those questions answered by real-world EV owners and EV experts.”
