DENVER MUSEUM OF NATURE AND SCIENCES HOLDS “CLIMATE ACTION IN OUR COMMUNITY” EARTH DAY EVENT

The event coin­cides with Earth Day 2022 celebrations

 

[VIRTUAL EVENT] – Tune in to the Den­ver Muse­um of Nature and Sci­ence‘s Earth Day 2022 vir­tu­al event, “Cli­mate Action In Our Com­mu­ni­ty.” This will fea­ture a vari­ety of Col­orado experts talk­ing about their sus­tain­abil­i­ty work in diverse sec­tors like food, build­ings, out­door rec, and more. Dri­ve Elec­tric Col­orado will be shar­ing some of our ini­tia­tives around elec­tric vehi­cle adop­tion here in the state and will speak more broad­ly to the role of green trans­porta­tion in cli­mate change mitigation.

The ini­tia­tive is led by Dri­ve Clean Col­orado and is part of Dri­ve Elec­tric USA, a Depart­ment of Ener­gy-fund­ed project with com­mit­ted part­ners from four­teen states. This project engages indi­vid­u­als, util­i­ties, leg­is­la­tors, deal­er­ships and oth­ers towards remov­ing adop­tion bar­ri­ers and accel­er­at­ing plug-in elec­tric vehi­cle use through­out the Unit­ed States.
