Drive Electric Colorado Launches New Website

The user-friendly site helps Coloradoans navigate the transition to electric vehicles

[DENVER, CO] – Drive Electric Colorado, along with its partners across the state, announces an updated website that provides individual consumers with information about electric vehicles in Colorado. This is one of many Drive Electric Colorado resources to help the state reach its goal to put 940,000 electric vehicles on the road in Colorado by 2030

DriveElectricColorado.org is the premier resource for non-bias information regarding electric vehicles, including:

  • Overall EV technology education
  • EV makes and models that are currently available to purchase in Colorado
  • How to charge an electric vehicle at home and away
  • Federal, state and local incentives available for EV purchases

A major resource that Drive Electric Colorado provides is individual EV coaching support from vetted experts across the state.  DriveElectricColorado.org visitors can request to speak to a real EV coach to talk through their unique electric vehicle questions.

“Drive Electric Colorado is a one-stop resource for EV education by Coloradoans for Coloradoans,” said Julia Davila, Drive Electric Colorado lead at Drive Clean Colorado, the parent organization of Drive Electric Colorado. “The new website is easier to navigate and provides the most up-to-date information to help the EV curious get the information they need to make the decision to purchase an electric vehicle with confidence.”

And Coloradoans are EV curious with the rest of the world; 52% of respondents to Earnst and Young's annual Mobility Consumer Index who are looking to buy a car want an EV, according to the survey of 13,000 people in 18 countries — that's a leap of 22 percentage points in two years, and the first time that EV interest exceeded 50%.
