Electric Bike Grant Opportunities

The State of Colorado is offering two e‑bike grants: one for local and Tribal governments to offer e‑bike rebates, and one for local government, nonprofits, and tribal governments to fund e‑bike deployment projects.

1. Local Gov­ern­ment Com­mu­ni­ty E‑Bike Rebate Grant Pro­gram opens next week on Octo­ber 12th. These grants are for local and Trib­al gov­ern­ments to imple­ment e‑bike rebate pro­grams in their com­mu­ni­ties. Funds can be used for exist­ing pro­grams or for new pro­grams. More infor­ma­tion will be avail­able up on our web­site ear­ly next week and the Request for Appli­ca­tion (RFA) doc­u­ments will be released on Thurs­day, Octo­ber 12th.

2. Com­mu­ni­ty Access to Elec­tric Bicy­cles Grant Pro­gram will open on Octo­ber 25th. Sim­i­lar to the pro­gram for FY23, this year’s grant pro­gram will be to fund e‑bike deploy­ment projects. CEO is admin­is­ter­ing this RFA in two phas­es. In phase one appli­cants will be required to sub­mit a con­cept paper that pro­vides a high-lev­el sum­ma­ry of the pro­posed project. Appli­cants whose con­cept papers demon­strate a thor­ough under­stand­ing of the Program’s objec­tives and a well-designed deploy­ment mod­el that increas­es access to e‑bikes for income-qual­i­fied indi­vid­u­als will be invit­ed to sub­mit a full project pro­pos­al. This solic­i­ta­tion is open to all local gov­ern­ments, non­prof­its, and trib­al governments.
