Drive Electric Colorado Featured in Volkswagen's What Fuels You Electric Road Trip

Dri­ve Elec­tric Col­orado was fea­tured in Volk­swa­gen ID.4's  “What Fuels You? An Elec­tric Road Trip” series with film­mak­er, Eri­ka Gils­dorf, as she trav­eled through Col­orado in her ID.4. Eri­ka spoke with Dri­ve Elec­tric Col­orado lead, Julia Davi­la ,and Rex­ford Hau­gen, a fel­low Volk­swa­gen ID.4 own­er and EV club member.

Eri­ka Gisldorf made her way to Col­orado from Min­neso­ta with her elec­tric car, a Volk­swa­gen ID.4. She talked to Dri­ve Elec­tric Colorado’s Julia Davi­la about Dri­ve Elec­tric Colorado’s com­mit­ment to edu­ca­tion­al and com­mu­ni­ty engage­ment to help spread and adopt elec­tric vehi­cles across the state. With the trans­porta­tion sec­tor con­tribut­ing the most green­house gas pol­lu­tion in the state, spread­ing knowl­edge and aware­ness about the envi­ron­men­tal ben­e­fits of EVs is what is need­ed to lessen pol­lu­tion and improve air quality.

Eri­ka and Julia met with Rex­ford Hau­gen, a local ID.4 own­er, at Red Rocks, Colorado's icon­ic park and amphithe­ater. Rex­ford expressed that the ID.4 is the per­fect fam­i­ly car because it fits a car seat, pro­vides enough leg room, and was an afford­able pur­chase for his new fam­i­ly.
